I like to design t-shirts as a hobby. I went to school for graphic design but never really got to utilize my skills into a profession. I still do work with computers just in a different capacity. Believe it or not, some of the designs I have come up with, have garnered some interest. I mainly have my shirts created on Cafepress. Sometimes friends will comment and ask where they can get one when they see me wearing one that I designed. They always tell me to stop lying when I tell them that I actually designed it myself. People are always surprised that I am so artistic and creative. I guess you wouldn’t really take me as an artistic type of person. I just don’t have the ‘look’ of a starving artist I suppose. There are some limitations to having cafepress or other sites make your shirts. Many will not print anything they feel is copyright infringement, and I can understand their point. Surprisingly, the shirts they make them on are pretty good quality. I’ve never had a complaint about any of them. Since I mostly do small runs, the prices aren’t all that great.
